Via e-mail and text, we’ve received multiple reports of something loud that shook homes in northeast West Seattle just after 7:30 pm – North Delridge, Luna Park, east Admiral/south Harbor Ave. areas. Reports were like this one from Steph: “Our house shook so hard things moved a little.” We’ve checked around and there were no SFD emergency responses for explosions, fires, crashes; also, no earthquake reports. So far, officially a mystery, but we’re mentioning it in case you wondered too.

Can you post a note to see if anyone received a package from Pasadena CA for 60xx California Ave SW #304 …. or something close it it? My brother sent me a Christmas gift and USPS says it was delivered on Saturday 12/23 but I have not received it. I live in a secure building with 8 units and we have never had issues with stolen mail so I am hopeful this is a case of misdelivery.

If you did get Kate’s package, let us know … she’d happily come pick it up.

3:01 PM: It’s the day before Christmas Eve and package deliverers are busier than Rudolph and friends. In some cases, the wrong package is going to the wrong person. This happened to Summer – who got a package from UPS, addressed to her residence, but in the name of Tiarra H. If that’s you – or if you know Tiarra – let us know so we can connect you. Otherwise, Summer will be taking the package to the UPS Store in the morning, which so far is the only option she’s come up with for getting it to the correct person.
