FOUND DOG: Near bridge
Found this sweet dog this morning at 9:15 am running across Admiral Way (just before bridge) at the intersection of Manning as you turn to go to Luna Park Cafe. I pulled over and coaxed it into my car and took it to West Seattle Animal Hospital. Harness only, no tag. Hope it gets reunited with the owner!

here is a large white pit bull mix dog wandering loose on the east side of Fauntleroy park on 37th and Roxbury area. Doesn’t seem interested in being approached. Wearing a collar. Male, intact. There’s a police officer on the scene as well as someone called it in. Dog is not willing to get near humans.
UPDATE: It’s still out there per police radio – “there’s not a whole lot we can do,” an officer just told dispatch. It’s most recently been sighted at California/Director.

FOUND CAT: Calico, Gatewood
I have found a cat in Gatewood, close to California and Othello. She is a younger calico, very friendly and vocal, appearing to be in overall good health. I plan to take her to the vet to get her checked for a microchip later in the week, and will keep her safe indoors while I search for her owner. I can be reached at (206) 618-5283.
