SIGHTING: Possible lost cat

On 5-24-2026, I saw this adult cat crossing the street toward 8832 34th Ave SW and walking South. Very skinny. No obvious ear clipping that would indicate a feral cat. May have been female but seemed more like a neutered male. He was very aware of his surroundings. Didn’t run from me or a car pulling into their driveway but made sure to keep distance between him and us.

He is VERY pale orange. From a distance, he looked creamy white, but closer he had a pale orange colored coat with a horizontally ringed tail in white and the pale orange. Short hair, no collar.

My neighborhood Ring group saw a similar cat 5/6/2026 at the community garden on Barton and 34th Ave SW. If this was the same cat, he had a lot more substance/weight on him.

I am deathly allergic so I could not get too close to him, even if he had let me.

Note: I am trying to contact the owners of “Pumpkin” who was reported lost on the blog 2/26/26.

LOST CAT: Bob – BACK HOME

(Bob’s back home; info removed)

LOST CAT: Possibly hurt

Our neighbor said a coyote had made their way up to the alley on the west side of SW Brandon and 44th Ave SW at around Midnight Sunday the 24th on the eve of Memorial Day. He saw the silhouette of “coyote” with an animal in its mouth after hearing a very loud cat fight enough to bring him to look outside.

Our cat, Buster, has not been seen since last night and we fear the worst. Hoping for a miracle, we are looking for any information that may give us an injured cat or further closure. It doesn’t look good but anything is possible.

Adam 2068175779

Also, warning to outdoor cat owners in the Seaview Area. There may be a predator more bold and prowling deeper in the neighborhood than previous years. Buster is mostly an indoor cat but likes to cat around in the evenings. Never thought something like this could happen this deep in the neighborhood away from Alki and the ravine south of SW Graham St. Hold your animals a little closer tonight.
